Dr. Estess is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a graduate of Stanford University, where he obtained his degree in human biology. He then received his dental degree from the University of Southern California. At USC, he graduated at the top of his class and received multiple awards including membership to the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. Dr. Estess’ passion for surgery led him to the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, where he received extensive training in the areas of maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction, orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery, dental implants and oral rehabilitation, head and neck pathology, and dentoalveolar surgery. As part of his residency, Dr. Estess also trained with the highly regarded Head and Neck Surgical Associates in Portland, OR.
Dr. Estess entered private practice in 2011 at Donlevy, Estess & Lohiya where he still practices today. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
As a California native, Dr. Estess has made the South Bay his home. He maintains an active role in the community and multiple professional organizations. In his free time, Dr. Estess enjoys surfing and spending time with his family.
